Abstract: with the rapid development of modern food industry, plastic flexible packaging has become the main way of food packaging. The main purpose of plastic flexible packaging is to ensure the safety and hygiene of packaged food and extend the shelf life of packaged food. Therefore, the sealing test of plastic flexible packaging has become the focus of attention of various manufacturers.

Sealing refers to the sealing reliability of the packaging bag. Through this test, the integrity of the whole product packaging can be ensured, and the leakage, pollution and deterioration caused by poor sealing performance of the product can be prevented. In view of whether the quality and hygiene of food can be guaranteed, and whether the shelf life of food can be extended, each production unit must ensure that the sealing of plastic flexible packaging is intact and qualified. Therefore, the sealing test of plastic flexible packaging is the primary problem, and the selection of sealing tester is the key issue.
According to the different testing principles, the sealing tester can be divided into two types: one is the negative pressure method; the other is the vacuum test method; The other is the positive pressure method sealing tester: using the positive pressure method inflation principle. Plastic flexible packaging is a kind of packaging method in which the shape of plastic can change after filling or taking out the contents.
