Test methods and steps for sealing performance of wet wipes
A1. Test principle description
Through vacuumizing the vacuum chamber, the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the sample immersed in water is produced, and the situation of gas escaping or water penetrating into the sample is observed, so as to determine the packaging sealing performance of the sample.

A2. Test device
A2. 1 sealing tester: in accordance with GB / T 15171, with a vacuum tank (see Figure 1), the vacuum degree can be controlled between 0 kPa and 90 kPa, the vacuum precision is level 1, and the vacuum holding time is within 0.1 min-60 min.
 A2. 2 compressor: provide positive pressure air, air source pressure should be less than or equal to 0 7 MPa。

A3. Test sample
A3. 1 the sample shall be a representative soft package containing the actual contents or their simulants.

A4. Test procedure
1. Water is injected into the vacuum chamber, and the height is higher than the bottom laminate surface on the cylinder head, and the sample is immersed in water. At this time, the distance between the top surface of the sample and the water surface shall not be less than 10 mm. To ensure the sealing effect, sprinkle a small amount of water on the sealing ring.
2. Close the sealing cover of the vacuum chamber, turn the switch on the tester to the on position, adjust the control adjustment knob of the tester (see above for the adjustment method), observe the vacuum pressure gauge, adjust the pressure to the stable value required by the test, turn the switch of the tester to the off position, close the switch, start to maintain the pressure, and time!
Note: two or more samples can be tested at a time as long as the leakage of each part of the sample can be observed during the test.
Note: the vacuum value to be adjusted shall be determined according to the characteristics of the sample (such as the packaging materials used, sealing conditions, etc.) or the relevant product standards.
3. The leakage of the sample during the vacuumizing process and during the vacuum holding period after reaching the preset vacuum degree depends on whether there are continuous bubbles. In general, a single isolated bubble is not considered as a sample leak.
4. Turn the switch on the instrument to the on position, eliminate the vacuum, time zero, open the sealing cover, take out the test sample, wipe the water on its surface, and observe the surface damage results of the packaging bag.

A. 5. Evaluation of test results
If there are no continuous bubbles in the three samples during vacuumizing and vacuum holding, and there is no water infiltration during the unsealing inspection, the project is qualified; If more than 2 out of 3 samples are unqualified, the item is judged as unqualified; If one of the three samples is unqualified, the three samples shall be measured again. After the re measurement, if all the three samples are qualified, the item will be judged as qualified, otherwise it will be judged as unqualified.
