2.  Test method

 

1) Inject water into the water tank to ensure that the water level is immersed in the cap when the bottle is put into the water tank;

 

2) For PET bottles, the bottle cap and the bottle mouth are cut off at the bottleneck position and sealed with a special fixture;  

3) Connect the air pipe with the piercing head, immerse the sample into the water tank, close the instrument cover, and check whether the cover is locked properly;

 

4) Reset the red pointer of the pressure gauge in front of the instrument base to zero;

 

5) Turn the selection switch to the right to "test" position;

 

6) If bubbles are found at the foot of the cap skirt, turn the selector switch to the left to "hold" or "vent" immediately

 

To reduce the bottle pressure to zero, and record the pressure indicated by the red pointer in the pressure gauge;

 

7) If there is no bubble at the foot of the cap skirt, the pressure reading will continue to rise until the pressure set value is reached;

 

8) Turn the selector switch to the left to "vent" position to reduce the bottle pressure to zero, release the instrument cover and take out the sample from the water tank;

 

9) Remove the air pipe on the piercing head, screw out the piercing head anticlockwise, and take out the sample.

 

 

 

The frequency of sealing test for packaging is affected by many factors, including the working condition of capping machine, capping speed, lid and bottle

3.  We propose the following test frequency and method for reference

 

1) At the beginning of each shift, three samples were extracted from each cover head, and the cover positions of all samples were detected visually. First use
