In view of these quality problems caused by the unqualified physical properties of the oil barrel, we put forward some relevant detection schemes and equipment.
1. Edible oil barrel Sealing test and quality judgment
There are different testing methods in different standards for testing the tightness of edible oil barrels
1. According to ASTM d5094-2004, there is a pressure difference of 33.7 kPa produced by removing the liquid in the package with similar liquid oscillation, and no leakage occurs for 10 minutes.
2. Astmd4991-07 vacuumized the external environment of the vessel to form a pressure difference of 95kpa without leakage for 30 seconds.
3. GB / t17374-1998 shall be packed into the packing box, inverted for 30min, and open the box for inspection. There shall be no leakage.

2. Cooking oil barrel pull Ring opening force detection
The design of the pull ring of the inner cover of edible oil barrel was originally convenient for consumers to open and use. Some consumers will encounter the pull ring especially difficult to open in the process of use, and sometimes the inner cover will not be opened even if the pull ring is broken. Some market data show that the opening force of the pull ring of the inner cover of most oil drums is greater than 70N. If the force value is too small, the liquid pressure will be too high and the inner cover will be damaged during transportation. Therefore, while controlling the opening force of the pull ring, some businesses also need to improve the raw materials of the bottle cap. For example, if the thickness of the pull ring is increased, the pull ring will not break easily, or the shape design of the pull ring will be improved.
